---
1. The February Roadmap
This month, we move from the rescue of the Exodus into the heart of the wilderness. We encounter the terrifying presence of Yahweh at Sinai, the complex blueprint of the Tabernacle, and the “strange” laws of Leviticus that define sacred space.
📖 This Month’s Reading Plan
• Bible Focus: Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy
• Theology Book: The Unseen Realm by Michael Heiser (Chapters 14–18) & Judgment of the Nephilim by Ryan Pitterson.

2. The “Stranger” Lexicon (Key Terms)
• Sacred Space: The idea that God’s presence is “heavy” and dangerous. The Tabernacle wasn’t just a tent; it was a portal where heaven and earth overlapped.
• Azazel: In Leviticus 16, one goat is for Yahweh, and one is “for Azazel.” Azazel isn’t a cliff; in the ancient worldview, he was a desert demon. The sin of Israel was being sent back to the “realm of death.”
• The Ban (Herem): This is the toughest part of Numbers. It refers to the total destruction of certain cities. In the supernatural worldview, this wasn’t about land—it was about wiping out the remaining Nephilim lineages (the Anakim).
---
3. The Big Insight: Sinai as the Cosmic Mountain
Ancient people believed gods lived on mountains. When Yahweh descends on Sinai with fire and cloud, He is establishing His “Divine Council” headquarters on earth.
• The 70 Elders eating with God on the mountain (Exodus 24) is a mirror of the 70 Nations from Babel. God is beginning to call His family back together.
---
4. Connecting the Dots: The Giant Clans
As Israel moves toward the Promised Land in Numbers, they encounter the “Anakim” and “Rephaim.”
• Numbers 13: The spies claim they saw the Nephilim.
• The Reality: This isn’t just a military battle; it’s a spiritual “mopping up” operation. Israel is clearing the land of the “seed” of the rebel Watchers so that Holy Space can be established.

5. Reflection & Prayer
The Reflection: Leviticus and Numbers teach us that God is “Other.” He is holy, and to live near Him requires a specific kind of life. If your body is now the “Temple” (1 Cor 6), how are you managing the “Sacred Space” of your own life this month?
The Prayer: Lord, as I read through the laws and the long journeys of Israel, help me see the beauty in Your holiness. Thank You for making a way for me to dwell in Your presence without fear. Open my eyes to the spiritual battles being fought for the “land” of my heart. Amen.
